That is pretty adorable. The rocket looks pretty well made, I must say. I'm sure the streamers looked cool at 5 mph as well. haha. I guess this is a pretty good way to work up to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. :)

David: I loved reading your interview. I totally agree with everything you talked about. It is so good to hear of someone else who loves the tradition of painting in "oils", and that learning is an ongoing endeavor. I still struggle with improving my style and showing more of the brush strokes. I know I should paint more than I do, but at times, am somewhat of a procrastinator. I will look forward to your reception. In fact, am down to work as an art ambassador that evening. Judy Schaefer

I have a Danvil oil painting. It is the back side of a copper pot, a cast iron pot w/lid. A small cast iron tea pot and a small shovel. The back ground is painted in a grey color. The frame is wood w/a grey color and a white wood matting. Could you tell me if this is from your collection and some history on the piece?
Thank You

As a child, I grew up as Paul's neighbor. I spent quite a bit of time running through the woods around his home. I also spent some time with Paul in his little shed behind his house where he worked. I have been away from home for over 10 years now but when I learned of his death, it brought back a lot of good memories of home. Paul was a well respected individual in the Forkland community and he will always be remembered for his blackpowder guns and his art. He will be truly missed but he lives on through his art.
